Liffy joined ABA in February 2017 as Development Officer and is the first point of contact for ABA.
She supports the planning and delivery of ABA’s All Together programme, which aims to reduce the bullying of disabled children and those with special educational needs, including supporting the development and delivery of training and resources. She also provides logistical support to training, and works on ABA’s day to day core activity, including membership and communications activity.
Liffy joined the National Children’s Bureau in 2014, working as Project Administration and Training Coordinator for the Early Childhood Unit before moving to ABA.
Prior to starting at NCB, Liffy studied International Development at graduate level, Gender Studies at Postgraduate level and has more than seven years of administration and logistics experience within the private and voluntary sectors, and has worked on assignments at Amnesty International, the Richmond Fellowship and the Royal Society of Arts, for example.
Liffy has also worked on humanitarian projects in Peru and Haiti, completed a gender training internship in India, and worked in Nepal providing educational support to children of prisoners.
