All Together Programme: disablist bullying
We’re delighted to announce the launch of the new All Together programme at the Anti-Bullying Alliance. This programme will build upon the work of the previous SEND anti-bullying champion programme. It aims to reduce bullying of all pupils and specially focuses on reducing bullying of disabled children and those with special educational needs (SEN) in England. The programme is supported by the Council for Disabled Children, Contact a Family and Achievement for All.
All Together will:
Develop All Together schools and local areas who will be beacons of effective practice across the country
Work with schools to survey pupils via an online easy-to-use wellbeing questionnaire
Provide free training both online and face to face to 1,000s of school and wider children’s workforce staff
Provide information and advice to parents and carers of disabled children and those with SEN about bullying via Contact a Family’s helpline
Consult with looked after children and young carers about their experiences of bullying and create guidance for schools about supporting young people who experience bullying
The programme will be available to schools and the wider children's workforce from in January 2016 and spaces are limited. To register your interest please follow this link.
In the mean time you can access our free online training here.
