This Anti-Bullying Week we are launching our first ever multimedia competition for pupils. We would like pupils to help us bring the theme of Choose Respect to life by using your creativity to create an image, video, illustrated quote, poem or any other medium you would like to use.
The aims of Anti-Bullying Week this year are to support schools and other settings to help children and young people, school staff, parents and other professionals who work with children to understand:
The definition of respect
That bullying is a behaviour choice
That we can respectfully disagree with each other i.e. we don’t have to be best friends or always agree with each other but we do have to respect each other
That we all need to choose to respect each other both face to face and online
Entries will be split into primary and secondary and winners will be chosen from both groups. You can create anything using any artistic medium including drawing, videography, graphic design, music or poetry to share your take on the Choose Respect theme.
Please email an electronic copy of your entry along with an entry form and – if there are identifiable pupils such as images/names - media consent forms for each student featured. We prefer submission to be via email to firstname.lastname@example.org and if they are large files transferred by We Transfer. They can also be sent to ABA, NCB, WeWork, 115 Mare Street, London E8 4RU. You can find all forms below.
All entries will receive a hard copy certificate and winners will feature on our website.
Competition closes 5pm Friday 27th July 2018. Winners will be announced in mid-September 2018.
